Stemtree Mathematics Program

Even though math can be viewed by students as boring and unimportant, it is an essential skill for your child’s success. When students are able to expand their preexisting math skills, they begin to understand the importance of math in daily life, as well as develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Stemtree's Mathematics Program consist of a specialized, grade-dependent curriculum that uses engaging activities and physical manipulations to make math more interesting. Our goal is to ensure that students not only understand key mathematic concepts, but can also apply their math knowledge and skills to daily life. The Stemtree math curriculum provides students with a solid foundation and supports students who can already understand the basics but need help with more complex topics. 

Grade level appropriate materials will be provided for students in Grades 1-6. 

Students’ proficiency in mathematics is assessed during the first session. We will personalize a lesson plan for each student based on their grade level, the outcome of their assessment, and their mathematics knowledge level. 

We supplement your core science program and enable the development of your own science curriculum. We also prepare students for science testing, i.e., SOL.
