Highly accomplished academic with a passion for bridging the realms of business administration, engineering, and technology management; a graduate of Texas A&M College of Engineering; published in academic engineering conferences and business journals. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Engineering and Technology Management, with my research culminating in a groundbreaking dissertation titled "A Quantitative Study Assessing the Effect of Blockchain-Based Supply Chain on Enterprise Financial and Operational Capabilities", which earned me the distinction of graduating with the highest academic honors. My academic pursuits are complemented by a rich tapestry of life experiences, including an expatriate journey spanning 18 years across Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Indonesia, and England. This extensive exposure has imbued me with a profound understanding of diverse cultures, fluent language skills, and a deep-seated appreciation for global interconnectedness. In my professional endeavors, I have honed my skills in inventory management, supply chain optimization, and transportation analytics. My contributions were pivotal in the early adoption of automated supply chain technologies and the successful transition to SAP systems for my organization. Currently, I am deeply committed to collaborative research in the realm of sustainable supply chains. By working closely with industry colleagues, I strive to develop innovative solutions and drive positive outcomes that align with environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility. With a global perspective and a relentless pursuit of excellence, I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and driving meaningful change across STEM fields. For this reason, I am thrilled to bring Stemtree to Sugar Land’s Riverstone neighborhood. At Stemtree, a premier destination for kids’ STEM enrichment, students think holistically across boundaries and explore new frontiers of knowledge by integrating concepts and methodologies from multiple disciplines. This holistic approach, branded the "Power of 5", is what drew me to the Stemtree curricula as it truly brings the world of STEM to life!

LEAD STEM Instructor
Upagnya is an experienced tutor with a strong background in math and science education. With a master’s degree in environmental engineering, she combines academic expertise with a passion for helping students understand complex concepts. Over the years, Upagnya has successfully guided learners of various ages and skill levels, making STEM subjects accessible and engaging. Her supportive teaching style and deep subject knowledge have helped many students build confidence and excel in their studies.
Bri, B.S.
STEM Instructor
Bri holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and has a strong passion for teaching and hands-on STEM learning. She is highly proficient in mathematics from Algebra I through Differential Equations, with expertise in Physics and Chemistry. Bri especially enjoys teaching circuits, robotics, and coding, helping students connect theory to real-world applications. Her academic and research work includes a patent-pending mobile countercurrent hemodialysis machine, developed in collaboration with the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research. Bri specializes in hardware description languages such as Verilog and has a deep interest in computer architecture and chip design. She will begin her Master of Science in Computer Engineering in August 2026.

STEM Instructor
Vijaya brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for education to the Stemtree of Riverstone team. With over 20 years of experience teaching students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, she specializes in making math, science, and literacy engaging through interactive, hands-on learning. She is skilled in lesson planning, classroom management, differentiated instruction, and supporting diverse learners, including students learning English as a second language. With a Master's degree in Mathematics, specialized training in Special Education, a TESL certification, and licensure through the Ontario College of Teachers, Vijaya is dedicated to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in every child. She is excited to inspire the next generation of STEM learners at Stemtree of Riverstone.

STEM Instructor
Bola brings a unique blend of engineering expertise, teaching experience, and a passion for inspiring young minds. With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and over a decade of professional experience with ExxonMobil, where she led technical training and helped teams understand complex processes, Bola knows how to make challenging concepts clear and engaging. As an educator and STEM mentor, she creates fun, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Her energetic teaching style and ability to connect with students help learners build confidence while exploring science, technology, engineering, and math. Bola is excited to inspire the next generation of innovators and help students discover that STEM is not only exciting—it’s for everyone!
Hafsa, B.S.
STEM Instructor
Hafsa holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. She has a passion for teaching chemistry and biology and enjoys helping students build strong foundations in the life sciences. Hafsa is also experienced in teaching mathematics, coding, and robotics, making her a versatile STEM instructor who supports students across multiple subject areas.

Roha is studying Biomedical Engineering and has a strong passion for teaching math, science, robotics, and coding. She is an enthusiastic and dedicated instructor who loves supporting her students and helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for STEM learning.
Ivin
STEM Instructor
Ivin is an electrical engineering student at the University of Houston with a passion for teaching and a strong background in robotics, computer programming, mathematics, and the sciences. With extensive experience as an instructor, he enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. Outside of academics, Ivin practices martial arts, holding a black belt, and enjoys Bollywood dancing. Fluent in Malayalam, he has a diverse range of interests and skills. A former member of his high school Robotics Club, Choir, and an honor roll student, Ivin is excited to inspire and empower Stemtree's students!
