Joshua Keady

Science & Engineering Instructor

Hello. My name is Joshua Keady. I graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a Biology degree in 2024. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I worked in an ecology laboratory studying native pollinators. At this lab, I was honored to be a second author on a published talk about the population fluctuation of native pollinators. I fostered a love for sciences at a young age because I was privileged enough to be exposed to a wide range of scientific topics. I am proud to work at Stemtree, because it gives students the opportunity to learn new skills and find something they are passionate about.

Olivia Keady

Science Instructor

Hello! My name is Olivia Keady. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Maine. After graduation, I worked at The Jackson Laboratory studying gene function in mice. I have been working with children and inspiring their love for science since high school when I worked at the Boys and Girls club as a tutor. My love for science was fueled by my teachers from a young age. They taught me to be curious and experiment with the world around me. These skills have been fundamental not only in my education and careers but also in my everyday life. I am excited to empower the next generation of scientists!

Curtis Terry

Engineering Instructor

Hello, my name is Curtis Terry. I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2024 with my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, as well as a minor in Psychological Science. While at RPI, I worked as an undergraduate mentor, helping professors to instruct classes and laboratories which I had excelled in as their student. As a professional in my field, I have had multiple software engineering internship experiences with Alert Innovation and Walmart's Advanced Systems and Robotics team. I have also interned for a startup electronic business card company called Pivvot. When I was in highschool I spent my summers as a camp counselor, and during the school year I would help coach youth sports teams. I have always been enthusiastic about STEM fields in school, and it was a privilege to pursue higher education in the field of Computer Science. I am also an enthusiastic educator. I love to pay forward to the next generation of kids who have the same interests I had when I was young.
