Ze'ev Gebler
Managing Director
Ze'ev Gebler is a skilled entrepreneur with a passion for educating youth, combining his leadership abilities with a strong focus on program development and data analysis. As the Youth Education Program Manager at SFI, he played a pivotal role in expanding educational offerings, program attendance, and revenue generation. His experience extends across various educational roles, including as Unit Head at Camp Zeke, where he oversaw daily operations and trained counselors, and a Teaching Fellow at Pearlstone, where he developed and executed ecology-based curricula for nearly 2,000 participants. Ze'ev also worked as a Senior Associate with Berkley Research Group, and a Consultant for Bates White Economic Consulting. With a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia University, Ze'ev combines his academic background with hands-on experience in managing and scaling educational programs.
Julie Achenbaum
Education Director
Julie Achenbaum, is the Education Director of Stemtree of Lower Manhattan. Julie joins us from 15 years of experience as a STEM educator, instructional coach, and curriculum developer in both private and public schools throughout New York City’s five boroughs. Julie received her B.A. in Biology from Colby College and her Master’s in Education from Manhattanville College. She spent 10 years as a science, math, and coding educator before transitioning to focus on educational consulting as the Learning Quality Senior Specialist in STEM at Success Academy Charter Network. Her current full time position is the Curriculum & Learning Specialist at Avenues: the World School where she employs data-driven instructional management to provide targeting pedagogical coaching, professional development, and curriculum support for teachers.
