Omar Arteaga

Hello. My name is Omar Arteaga and I graduated from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley with a B.S. in Physics. Growing up, I was blessed with many wonderful science teachers, who've inspired me to pursue a career in the STEM fields. Science has always been a passion of mine and I can only hope to emulate what my teachers have done for me. I aim to foster curiosity and convey problem solving skills to the next generations. I look forward not only to the opportunity STEMTREE has provided me as an instructor but also to the new perspective I will surely gain from it.

I’m Icia! I am a proud graduate of TAMUK with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology and a graduate from MCPHS with a Doctor of Pharmacy! Within these years, I have been given the privilege to be an orientation leader, tutor, preceptor and a professional in the medical field. I have been highly involved in outreach programs in my community as a leader within many organizations such a, APhA, ASA, Head Start etc. I am very passionate about the healthcare field along with education which I feel can inspire the new generations to come. I am also knowledgeable in math and basic sciences that will help build a strong foundation for our students. If you don’t see me behind a pharmacy, you can usually find me taking a walk in the park with my dog or grabbing a bite to eat while I watch the Dallas Cowboys/Celtics Play. I realize how much of an impact the STEM field can be to innovative growing minds who want to strive for more than just success. STEMTREE is a place where you can find that and more. Within these walls, you’ll find the combination of the new minds for success and science of the future!
Bryn Ramirez

Hi, I'm Bryn, a graduate of The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. I graduated with a bachelor's in Computer Science and a minor in Pure Mathematics. I was a "Calculus I" learning assistant while completing my undergrad. I have a passion for learning new things, especially technology and theoretical mathematics. I plan to go back to university in the near future to receive a graduate degree in either Computer Science or Cyber Security. I hope I can help students at Stemtree find passion in STEM as much as I did when growing up.
