Regular Program:

The Stemtree monthly program offers K-12 students a chance to review, learn, and apply basic sciences through its engineering, science, and technology workouts. Students can attend one to five times per week for 90 minutes.

We conduct an assessment for each subject to ensure that we maximize your child’s time at Stemtree and customize a learning plan corresponding to his/her previous experiences and knowledge level. Our customized learning plans, along with our extremely flexible scheduling, guarantees that no material will be missed if a student is not able to attend a session. The session can be made up another day.

Before/After School Program with Pick Up:

Stemtree offers an After School Program with pick-up at local elementary schools. We pick up students from school and transport them to our location. Our program gives students a chance to understand the importance of academics and gives them opportunities to apply their basic sciences. It keeps your child engaged, active, and entertained. It also provides him/her with a relaxing and fun environment after a long day at school.

Tutoring:

At Stemtree, we aim to build confidence in the fields of science, technology, and engineering to ensure success in a society increasingly focused on STEM. Research shows that tutoring is a great way to support learning and makes a significant difference in a child’s life. With our unique one-on-one tutoring, coupled with our stimulating, customized curricula and dedicated tutors, we can make that difference.

Our science curriculum consists of topics ranging from the basic life and physical sciences to biology, chemistry, and physics. In technology we teach basic to more advanced programing for all ages regardless of their experience level. Our engineering curriculum introduces students to the world of robotics – from building to programming – and offers instruction in the fields of electricity and electronics.

Stemtree also offers K-12 homework and exam prep. No matter what your child’s tutoring needs are, Stemtree has the answer!

After School Program:

Stemtree’s after school Science, Technology, and Engineering programs are coordinated through the PTA/PTO of local elementary schools. The after school program introduces and/or enhances the understanding of key concepts while creating a fun and engaging atmosphere. It emphasizes learning through fun while offering an opportunity for young students to be introduced to science and engineering in an environment where they can explore and be creative in the learning process.

Each program may run three, 6-12 week sessions during the school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Once the program is contracted with the school PTA/PTO, the PTA program coordinator provides the school procedures and details on the program prior to the start date.

Camps:

Our camps are not structured in a traditional classroom setting. At Stemtree, we provide all students one-on-one instruction. This customized learning style is considered a highly effective learning environment for students. One-on-one instruction allows students of all abilities to become confident and capable learners and allows for a high quality individualized interaction between the teacher and the student.

Our camp includes science workouts and experiments, computer programming, and engineering. Each student will take an assessment at the beginning of the program in order to gauge his or her level to create a customized learning program.

Birthday Parties:

Birthday parties at Stemtree are sure to create a long lasting experience for your child and his/her friends. Parties are geared to ages 6 and up and allow children and parents the opportunity to become immersed in Science and Engineering.

Birthday participants are first introduced to the science lab where they will conduct some customized science experiments. But, the excitement doesn’t end there. Our party participants will then compete in one of our various birthday robot tournaments!

Birthday parties will be held at the center. Please call the center to schedule your party.

Homeschool Program:

More families than ever have made the choice to move to full-time homeschooling for many different reasons unique to their student's individual needs. The Stemtree Homeschool program, available at some locations, offers the same top-quality science, technology, engineering, and math workouts that you've come to know and love, but at times that are more flexible for your homeschooling needs.

In the Homeschool program, we conduct an assessment for each subject to ensure that we maximize your child’s time at Stemtree and customize a learning plan corresponding to his/her previous experiences and knowledge level. Our customized learning plans, along with our extremely flexible scheduling, guarantees that no material will be missed if a student is not able to attend a session. The session can be made up another day. We also provide tutoring services in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Computer Programming, Mathematics, and provide state-specific and AP exams support.
