I have a background in Finance, Economics, and Computer Science . I graduated from The Ohio State University. I have always loved science and hands on activities. I love learning about new tech. In August of 2019 , I decided to open a new business. As I was looking for my daughters to get involved in STEM activities, I quick realized there was nothing in Columbus that interested them. I found Stemtree and the rest is history. Stemtree was the perfect choice.. I am very excited to bring this to the Columbus and to grow Stemtree here. I look forward to bringing science to life for kids of all ages

I have had over 10 years of experience working with children and have true passion for it! I graduated from Ohio State University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and have a background in child development and STEM. I am currently working on my Master's at Wright State University for School Counseling. When I got the opportunity to teach at Stemtree, I knew it was going to be an amazing experience! It allows the children to open their minds and imagination, indulge in their curiosity, and make endless discoveries about the world around them. Working at Stemtree has been so much fun, I love getting to know each and every one of the kids and helping them learn and grow!
Taylor Johnson
Instructor
Taylor is the resident coder of Stemtree of New Albany. He enjoys working with Stemtree students on languages such as Starch , Python , and Java, Taylor's focus is on higher learning languages. In his free time , he enjoys building servers . Taylor has a background in robotics and codling.
Brett Horner
Instructor
I am very excited to be an instructor at Stemtree. I have experience with so many things that fall under the STEM umbrella such as building & repairing computers, tinkering with things to see how they work & how to fix them, and I love doing science experiments with my own children. I also help my wife homeschool our oldest child, which is the reason I found Stemtree. I am very passionate about children using creativity to achieve their goals, helping them learn in efficient ways and teaching them new ways to solve problems. Outside of Stemtree, I am a wedding photographer with my wife. I love to play video games and I play bass in a band. I look forward to growing with Stemtree and helping children learn in their own ways so they can grow into amazing people.
